by Sanjay Chaurasia | | inAlthough Daylilies do not require not much care, a proper dose of chemical fertilizer like 6-6-6 or 8-8-8 (NPK) will result in more and larger blooms and vigorous growth. Nitrogenous fertilizer such as calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) also improves foliage and flower when applied before blooming.

by Sanjay Chaurasia | | inDaylilies are propagated by division of clumps. Daylilies are strong and durable plants. Clumps should be selected from those plants which are 3-4 years. If clumps are taken from only one year old plants, they will produce only foliage & no flowers. Each clump should have at least one visible bud and one to three roots. Clumps should be free from any external injury and bruises.
